One of the World”s wonder is the Pyramid of Egypt. This also can be considered as one of the greatest handicraft during their times because I believe that when they constructed this there was not even a single machine use to aid people wit h the construction.
The Great Pyramid of Giza (also called the Pyramid of Khufu and the Pyramid of Cheops) is the oldest and largest of the three pyramids in the Giza Necropolis bordering what is El Giza, egypt. It is the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and the only one to remain intact. It is believed that the Pyramid built as a tomb for fourth dynasty Egyptian Pharaoh Cheops and constructed over a 20-year period concluding around 2560 BC> the great Pyramid was the tallest man-made structure in the world for ovewr 3,800 years. Originally the Great Pyramid was covered by casing stones that formed a smooth outer surface; what is seen today is th underlying core structure. Some of the casing stones that once covered the structure can still be seen around the base. There have been varying scientific and alternative theories about the Great Pyramid”s Construction hypotheses are based on the idea that it was built by moving huge stone from a quarry and dragging and lifting them into place. The question who labored to build them, and why, has long been part of their fascination. Rooted firmly in the popular imagination is the idea that Pyramids were built by slaves serving the merciless pharaoh. It was believed that the Israelites “God's People” were the one who built that Great Pyramid when they became slaves of the Egyptians for a period of years. Though it was built with a purpose but we can see that through the result of it's work we can feel what hardship these people felt and undergo when they built this.
Whatever it was, now we can see how it stands all over the World, made known to all people one of the World's Great Wonder which until now it is still consider. We can see the result the effect of the Greatest handicraft ever made but by the hands of God's People. It's not for the purpose that someday it will become well-known but it so happened.
Now this Pyramid is still visited by people from different race and different walks of life just to see it's beauty and how it was wonderfully made.
